The Professional Team

DR MAURO GIACOMAZZI

CPA and Statutory Auditor, Professor of International Business Metrics in the International Economics program at the University of Padua. He has always dealt with international taxation planning, Transfer Pricing and national and international company restructuring at first as a manager in important industrial groups and later as a freelancer. He has operated mainly for groups of companies with foreign subsidiaries, in particular Chinese and American. He has founded the Shanghai branch and is professionally active both in Italy and China. Mergers and acquisitions team leader for Italian and foreign operations. He is appointed as Auditor and sits in the Board of Directors for important companies.

DR JAVIER WANG

CPA, graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, international accounting major, he started his professional career in one of the international audit firm. His professional experiences covers consulting on investment in China, M&A due diligence, local statutory audits, audits under other GAAP’s, tax planning and related services. He is a practice member of Chinese Institution of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK) and a member of Institute of Public Accountants (IPA Australia).

DR LUCA VEZZOSI

Business Administration graduate from the University of Parma. Has been living in Shanghai since 2008 and has assisted to the starting point of activities in China. He deals with international trading operations and assists client companies in the complex strategic sourcing activity in Chinese and Vietnamese markets. He is in charge of the team evaluating and controlling Asian suppliers. Furthermore he carries out market research for commercial counterparts and evaluates companies, both Chinese and Italian, for the constitution of industrial joint ventures. He sits in the Board of Directors of Chinese companies.

DR STEVE CHEN

CPA, graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, international accounting major, and started his professional career in one of the “Big 4”. During his professional career in “Big 4”, he was engaged in and then led the team in many assurance and consulting projects for various clients in multiple industries, including electronics, vehicles and telecommunication industries. These experiences have made him very familiar with the international assurance and accounting rules. His excellent communication skills and professional technical also made him competent in due diligence, internal control and oversea listing services.

DR LE HOANG DAO (MR. KELVIN)

Graduated twice from the University of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with a first degree in Information Technologies and a second one in Marketing Management. He has started his career as a manager for important multinational groups such as 3M and DuPont, where he followed their business development in the Asian market for over a decade. After this experience he began his professional career in leading firm, offering consulting services mainly to foreign companies with branches in Vietnam and South East Asia. He mostly deals with business development plans for client companies of the Firm in the South East Asia region as well as being the Firm’s contact person when it comes to relationships with the local authorities of the target countries.

DR LORETTA MARTIN

CPA and Auditor, Political Sciences graduate from the University of Padua. She is specialized in strategic and managerial consulting, mainly carrying out complex restructuring operations both nationally and internationally. Dealing with tax litigation matters, she is in charge of the team assisting clients in the tax assessment and audit phases both from italian and foreign tax authorities. Finally she is an experienced Auditor having covered the role in leading national and international groups and sits in the Board of Auditors in leading Italian companies.

DR VANESSA ZILIO

CPA and Auditor, Accounting and Finance graduate from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She is specialized in international taxation and mainly deals with Trasfer Pricing activities. She assists client companies, both national and foreign, in solving problems concerning transfer pricing through the analysis and development of procedures and the adoption inter-company policies which are tax-efficient and compliant with Italian and foreign laws. She covers the role of Auditor in leading Italian companies.

DR YANG LIN

Economics graduate from Shanghai Univesity. Has been dealing with international trading for over 20 years. Has a deep knowledge of the Chinese supply chain and assists client companies, mainly Italian, in the delicate negotiations to develop and meet annual sourcing budgets. He is also responsible for the development of plans in the complex Chinese distribution network, through the elaboration of models for controlling and profitability assessment. Finally he assists clients in the evaluation process phase of future China-Italy joint ventures.

DR DAISY FEI

Graduated from Shanghai University, her professional experiences covers international trading services, tax refund procedures and relationships with Chinese Fiscal Authorities. First as assistant, then as senior consultant, she has always dealt with international sourcing issues and Chinese suppliers evaluation. She joined the firm since the first establishment of the Chinese office in Shanghai.

DR ANGEL LI

Graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and accounting major. Her professional experiences covers accounting, tax planning, local statutory audits and related services. She has specific skills on balance sheet control and she is very familiar with Chinese subsidiaries controlled by Italian Parent companies and fiscal treatment of foreign dividends. She is member of the team with focus on due diligence activities in China.

DR FRANCESCO VOLPATO

CPA, Business Administration graduate from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He deals with accounting and taxation consulting for companies and practitioners, besides drawing balance sheets, tax declaratives and administrative procedures for narional and international companies. He studies and deepens the knowledge of national and international accounting principles and the direct and indirect taxation legal matters. He sits in the Board of Auditors in leading Italian companies.

AVV. ERICA PICCININI

Lawyer, Law graduate from the University of Bologna. She deals with civil litigation and extrajudicial assistance both for privates and companies for matters concerning business law. In particular she carries out activities in contracts (assistance in contacts drawing, legal representation and defence in Civil Court) and credit protection, including the executiion and bankruptcy phases. She is the leader of the legal team dealing with debt collection in all the countries where the Firm is present both directly or through partner firms.

DR GREGORIO MENINI

CPA, International Business Management graduate from Ca’ Foscari University Venice. Master in Business Management-Global Supply Chain from British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canada. He has matured a professional experience of several years in the Shanghai and Ho Chi Minh City’s branches, assisting client companies both in the incorporation and management of foreign subsidiaries and the trading and business development activities. Furthermore he is in charge of the development of business plans for national and multinational companies, management control, industrial costs analysis and profitability, development of commercial strategies and stakeholder management for client companies.

DR MICAELA MAZZONETTO

Accounting and Finance graduate from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She manages accounting and administration services besides providing client companies with consulting in taxation and financial statements. She is a member of the team carrying out the Statutory Audit activities for national companies. She is responsible for the financial statement analysis and periodic financial mapping and reporting in assistance of the administrative departments of client companies.

DR FILIPPO FERRETTI

Graduated in International Management from the University of Bologna, has a Master in International Management from East China University of Science and Technology Shanghai. He has started his training in multinational corporations in Italy and London, before entering the firm and joining the Shanghai branch where he follows clients in trading activities. He mainly deals with supply market research for Italian and foreign clients that purchase in China, following in first person the whole process, from negotiation to production processes to shipment and logistics and customs. His professional activity also involves the daily relationships with stakeholders, clients, suppliers and agents of the client companies.

DR ALESSANDRO BERTUOLA

Economics graduate from the University of Padua. He is a Transfer Pricing and international taxation team member. He also carries out the development of economic and financial planning models, assisting the management control team. Finally he analyzes companies’ data periodically to verify and appoint the variation from annual budgets.

DR TONY HUA

Economics graduate from Shanghai University. He deals with customs consulting besides assisting the Firm’s clients on trading matters. He is the Firm’s contact person in charge of the relationships with the Chinese authorities that grant authorizations to carry out reserved industrial activities and that approve industrial plans for industrial development zones with taxation benefits. He elaborates feasability studies, both industrial and cost controlling, for foreign companies’ access to China.

NGUYEN VAN SON (MR.JONATHAN)

Graduated in mechanical engineering from the University of Transport and Communication of Hanoi and obtained his master in Business Administration from the Foreign Trade University of Vietnam. He started his professional career in important international industrial groups with production plants or sourcing activities in Vietnam, where he matured skills both in market research and development and in the development of industrial plans, acting directly as the bridge between management and production. He mainly deals with the analysis and development of industrial plans for client companies with interests in Asia, building reports and business plans for the projects, evaluating their feasibility and following their implementation in person, also during the operational productive phases.

DR ACHRAF YOUNES

CPA and Auditor, graduated in Economics from the University of Management of Sfax, Tunisia.
He deals with tax and accounting consulting for companies and professionals, besides the drawing up of balance sheets, tax declarations and administrative procedures both for national companies and for those having business relationships with foreign subsidiaries. Furthermore he examines the doctrine of accounting principles, both national and international, and legal matters on direct and indirect taxation. He is Supervisory Board Auditor in leading Tunisian companies.

DR WALIM MNEJJA

CPA and Auditor, graduated in Economics from the University of Management of Sfax, Tunisia. He deals with tax and accounting consulting for companies and professionals, besides the drawing up of balance sheets, tax declarations and administrative procedures both for national companies and for those having business relationships with foreign subsidiaries. Furthermore he examines the doctrine of accounting principles, both national and international, and legal matters on direct and indirect taxation.
